I went into device manager, selected the device (in this case SFIVTE under Other Devices), right-clicked, selected - 'Update Driver Software,' then selected - 'Browse my computer for driver software,' then - 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer,' then selected something about - 'Microsoft compliant devices,' which enabled the selection of - 'Xbox 360 Controller for Windows Version x.x.x.xxxx' Whatever the lastest version of the xbox controller drivers works. This should just work from plugging it in.

I don't know how to make this work if the supplied drivers by Microsoft won't work.Īny help would be appreciated.
